It is never too early to think about Spring in Windham. The Friends of the Library of Windham are gearing up to plan June’s Strawberry Festival and Book Fair. The 30th annual festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 1st at Windham High School. This fun community event would not be possible without the time, talents and hard work of Windham’s citizens. As we begin to form our Committee for the 2013 Festival, we need your help! We are looking for a few friends to join our Committee this year. The festival is the major fundraiser for the Nesmith Library and its’ success is the reason that F.L.O.W. is able to sponsor museum passes, children and adult programming, scholarships – just to name a few! The Committee meets in January, March, April and May to make this amazing day a success.
